1. Characteristics of CMC for toothpaste:
- Good rheology and thixotropy;

- Salt resistance: it can be used in the paste added with various inorganic salts, and the viscosity of the paste will not degrade significantly with the passage of time;
- Heat resistance: it has good and stable heat resistance effect;

- Strong anti microbial ability: the paste has strong anti enzyme performance due to its good substitution uniformity
2. Application characteristics of CMC in toothpaste:
- It has good compatibility with various raw materials in toothpaste and fine paste;
- No water separation, no shelling, no coarsening;
- Good stability and proper consistency. It can give the toothpaste a particularly comfortable taste;
- Ensure the storage stability of the paste in the tube and prolong the shelf life;
- The extrusion dispersion of the paste is good;
- Good paste appearance and strip forming performance;
- CMC solution has better rheological and thixotropic properties.
